MARGARET DUPREY
OWNER/DRESSAGE RIDER
Margaret H. Duprey and her husband, Robert (Bob), own and operate Cherry Knoll Farm Inc. in Wellington, FL and West Grove, PA. These equestrian centers are the home of high performance horses that compete internationally in dressage and show jumping.
Currently, Duprey serves on the United States Equestrian Team Foundation’s Board of Trustees, on the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Family Charitable Trust, on the Wilson College Board of Trustees, the American Angus Foundation Ad Hoc Committee, and TERF. Duprey is a Trustee Emeriti of Cabrini University, having served for more than 30 years on the Board. Duprey holds the distinction of being the 1st Brooke USA Ambassador and is also a Brand Ambassador for Kelcie’s Treats.
Duprey, a Cabrini University alumnus, is a lifelong member of the equestrian community. She is an accomplished Grand Prix Dressage competitor as well as a well-respected leader and advocate engaged at all levels of the equine industry and beyond.
Duprey was the visionary and trailblazer for Equi-Assist program – the first home care nursing program for horses, providing compassionate and continuity of care from hospital to home for ill or post-surgical equines. Equi-Assist is now fully incorporated in Wilson College Vet Tech Curriculum.
Duprey is a consistent champion of Canine Partners for Life and Spring Brook Farm – two Chester County organizations dedicated to improving the lives of people and animals. Canine Partners for Life’s mission is to increase the independence and quality of life of individuals by training and placing full service and alert dogs as well as companion dogs to assist these individuals. Spring Brook Farm’s mission is to enrich the lives of children with disabilities through animal-assisted activities.
Duprey’s passion and commitment to the betterment of equestrian sport and the well-being of children and animals globally is evident in her on-going contributions and steadfast belief that people can make a positive difference.
